Short description of our functions and the meaning of the symbols.

ATEX-approved
Peltors range of ATEX approved products are developed for users who
spend time in highly explosive environments, such as the off shore -
and refining industry.

Built in communication radio
Hearing protectors with built in communication radio, 446 or 433 MHz.

Level Dependent Function
Each cup has a microphone that captures all sounds. The electronics inside
analyse the information and process the sound before reproducing it to the
ear. It provides effective protection against impulse noises like gunshots.
At the same time, speech and weak signals can be amplified up to 10 times
in comparison to conventional hearing protection.

Two way communication
To communicate at a distance via communication radio, mobile or DECT–phone.

Bluetooth
Hearing protectors with built in bluetooth. Compatible with communication radio
DECT- and mobile phones with bluetooth. See also Peltor bluetooth adapter.

Listen only function
To be able to listen to radio traffic, for example via a communication radio,
mobile or DECT –phone.
