The 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™ is a hearing protector with built in electronic functionality to improve safety and increase motivation for wearers in noisy conditions. It has a built in FM radio and a level dependent function for ambient listening. Warning signals, approaching vehicles and other dangers that may occur can still be heard thanks to the level dependent function. The Alert is equipped with an external jack that enables connection to external sources, for example a mobile phone or an MP3-player.
